General School Rules English And Bengali Medium (Co-Ed) School

  • All pupils attending school are obliged to take part in all the school activities.
  • Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings. Each article should be marked with the pupil’s name.
  • No pupil will be allowed to wear shirts having old school emblem/logo.
  • Damage or Destruction of school property of any kind will be penalized.
  • Usage of old Identity Card is not permissible.
  • Complaints if any, must be sent in writing.
  • Absence must be recorded in column provided in the diary. Absence due to illness must be supported with medical certificate.
  • Escort card should be renewed every year.
  • Escort of pupils must carry the current identity card failing which the pupil will be detained in school.
  • Any change in address and telephone number must be notified in writing.
  • Half-day’s leave shall not be granted. In case of emergency application must be submitted in advance.
  • Parents should have prior permission to meet any subject teacher.
  • Private tuitions are not arranged by the school.
  • Promotion will be granted, provided the students of Classes I to IV secure 40% in the aggregate and students of Classes V to XII 40% in all the Summative Examinations.
  • Insufficient attendance may prevent promotion (min 75% attendance is compulsory).
  • Fee book must be produced at the time of collection of report card.
  • Report Cards will not be issued to defaulter pupils.
  • Pupil failing for two consecutive years in a class will have to be withdrawn.
  • Within two days of the declaration of result, parents must collect the report card of their ward (s). Thereafter no report card will be issued.
  • Report cards should be returned on the next working day duly signed, failing which a fine of Rs. 15/- will be taken. Loss of Report Card will be charged Rs. 100/-
  • The use of unfair means in the examination will entail the annulment of the examination of that day.
  • Mobile phones, smart watches, watches and valuable articles must not be brought to school. Pupils must not wear any kind of ornaments in school. Fine will be imposed if a student does not adhere to the above mentioned regulations.
  • Parents should inform the School authorities if their Child is suffering from any serious illness, chronic ailment, physical handicap or sensory defect (e.g.: heart disorder or epilepsy etc.) In case of chicken pox, mumps, or any other contagious disease, student must maintain the quarantine period, before they return to school.
  • Children should come to school in neat and clean prescribed uniforms with polished shoes.
  • Boys must have their haircut regularly. Coloring of hair is not allowed.
  • Nails should be trimmed and unadorned by nail varnish.
  • No tattoo or extra earnings are allowed. No expensive items to be worn. The school takes no responsibility for loss of any expensive item.
  • Girls are not allowed to put mehendi or colour their hair. Long hairs should be in plaits. They can use black hairband or black clips.
